A Christmas campaign designed to spark pure childhood wonder.
For The Langham London’s 2025 Christmas campaign, our brief was simple in spirit but ambitious in execution: create a film that captures the magic of the season and invites guests to Release Their Inner Child inside one of the world’s most iconic hotels.
Working closely with The Langham’s marketing team, the concept centred around nostalgia, playfulness and the joy of experiencing Christmas through a child’s eyes. To bring this vision to life, we deployed a highly agile two-person production team, Director and DOP, enabling us to navigate a live operational hotel with minimal disruption while maintaining a refined, cinematic visual style.
Casting played a key role in the storytelling. The film features renowned chef Michel Roux Jr, whose presence adds warmth, heritage and authenticity to the campaign. Alongside him, we cast adult and child actors carefully paired to represent “past and present” versions of the same characters. Every detail mattered, from wardrobe and styling to subtle visual touches like matching glasses and even nail varnish, to deepen the sense of continuity and childhood nostalgia woven throughout the narrative.

The production was completed across two intensive shoot days, made possible thanks to the exceptional support and collaboration of The Langham team. Their attention to detail elevated every moment, most memorably when a request for a “large ice cream sundae” became a show-stopping centrepiece that looked worthy of a world record. It’s this imagination that helped define the tone and identity of the entire campaign.
In addition to the hero film created for The Langham website, we also delivered a suite of standalone scene edits, crafted specifically for social deployment. These short, self-contained moments will be drip-fed across The Langham’s channels in the lead-up to Christmas, extending the life of the campaign and building momentum throughout the season.
